Case Study- Northamptonshire-Football Pavilion

Following a request from a client, Proactive Asbestos Control Ltd were requested to carry out a ‘Demolition’ Asbestos Survey of derelict football changing rooms. The Changing rooms had been vandalised and were unfit for use.

Asbestos materials to the walls, roof and ceiling were identified within the report. Following the issue of the survey report in electronic (pdf)and hardcopy Proactive Asbestos Control were requested to carry out the Asbestos Removal and Demolition of the building.

Detailed Method Statements and Risk Assessments were prepared and issued to the client and site staff. The Asbestos was removed first then the timber and concrete block building. The site was inaccessible to skip lorry’s so all waste was removed from site using Proactive’s fleet of Vans. Once the work was completed waste consignment notes were issued to the client.
